Poppy Squid is a free survival mobile game developed by ABI Global Publishing. In this free-play arcade game, players are challenged to survive various Korean children's games popularized by the Netflix drama Squid Game. However, the enemy is Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime.

Poppy Squid works like other Squid Game-inspired titles. You will face a different challenge in every round. For every level cleared, you will earn money to buy a new avatar. However, the game does not offer anything new in terms of gameplay. Additionally, typical of free-to-play titles, the playtime to ad ratio is awful. 

Simple and familiar gameplay

As said in the title, Poppy Squid is a game that is among the growing list of mobile games that combines the Netflix series and the popular horror game. Here, you will play as one of the participants of the deadly survival game. The goal is to complete every challenge without dying. However, instead of the doll and uniformed soldiers, the enemy will be Huggy Wuggy.

As mentioned, the challenges in every round are the games popularized in Squid Game. These include Red Light, Green Light, Tug-of-War, Glass Bridge, Dalgona Challenge, and Marble Playground. Since this is a mobile game, the controls are simple, only entailing you to swipe your fingers on the screen. Note that most levels will have a time limit. You need to complete the task before time runs out to avoid falling.

For every level cleared, the game will reward you with money that you can use to buy a new avatar. However, typical of casual games, the gameplay lacks difficulty, making it boring in the long run. It also doesn't help that the art style is not that visually appealing. Moreover, the app suffers from glitches that often cause players to fail the round.
